Terry Tucker, R.N. – President, Founder and Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. has more than 37 years of nursing experience in Ob-Gyn and Family Practice. Currently Nurse Manager reporting to the Medical Director of the Federal City Road office in Lawrenceville, NJ which is affiliated with the University Medical Center of Princeton. Founded Heart to Hearts in 1998 to educate women on healthy lifestyles in order to prevent illness and reduce risk of disease for them and their families. Instructor of nutrition classes, health portfolios and wellness evaluations, Terry has participated in health fairs and numerous community health initiatives for the past ten years.
Terry was selected as a 2006 Jefferson Award winner for her work in health education for women in our community. The Jefferson awards are a prestigious national recognition system honoring community and volunteer service in America. Each year a panel of judges selects local members of the community for their outstanding commitment to volunteer work and community service. She also received recognition as a 2006 nominee for the Ann Rabner Nursing Award at University Medical Center of Princeton, for her outstanding work in the field of health care. back
Suzanne Methot - Vice President and Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. has been a volunteer with the organization since 2002. Former executive director of Compensation who retired after a 30 year career with AT&T, Bell Atlantic and Verizon Communications with a background in Treasury and Human Resources. Actively involved in nonprofit organizations in Mercer County since 2002, Sue completed a certificate program in the management of non-profits at Mercer County College. She has served on National Alliance for Mental Illness-Mercer NJ (NAMI) Development Committee; was co-chair of Night out with NAMI fundraising event two years as well as co-chair of the annual Women’s Wellness Day sponsored by Heart to Hearts the past five years. Board member of Zonta Trenton/Mercer Chapter of the international women's service organization dedicated to improving the status of women and children. Sue is also a substitute teacher in the Hopewell Valley Regional School District. back
Beverly Yard - Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. has acquired broad experience in many phases of volunteer work as she pursued studies in grant writing and consulting and nonprofit management at Mercer County College. Beverly’s employment background in administration and operations management spans many industries. She is presently Operations Manager/Client Services Manager at Dedicated Senior Advisors, a financial services organization. She is licensed with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Beverly is a Continuing Studies Student at Rider University where she is completing studies in Management and Organizational Development and Psychology. back
Karen Baker - Treasurer and Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. is a Real Estate Agent currently with Weidel Realtors in Ewing, NJ. Karen is also a licensed Public Adjuster, serving as an advocate for home and small business owners who have sustained a loss to their property. She retired from Wachovia Bank where she spent her career as a bank executive serving the lending and mortgage needs of the banks customers. Her expertise is in staff, supplier and budget management, with budgets ranging from $1mm to $25mm. Karen has been a member of Heart to Hearts organization for the past 10 years.. back
Susan Valentine - Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. is the owner/designer of The Flower and Country Store, a full service florist located in Titusville, NJ. Susan has a Masters in Business from Rider University with a focus on change process in organizations. She has developed wholesale and retail businesses, worked in small, medium and large business enterprises as well as Fortune 500 Companies. She was employed by an international nonprofit and currently serves on the Board of Directors for four nonprofit organizations. She is a member of several networking groups and currently serves, including VNA Homecare of Mercer County and is the president of Zonta Club of Trenton/Mercer, a service organization focused on improving the status of women and children. back
Annette Krier, RN, Reiki Master/Teacher – Secretary and Board Member is a Registered nurse having graduated from St Francis School of Nursing in 1969. She currently works as a case manager in home care as a palliative and hospice nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association. She has studied and practiced holistic health for 30 years. She has been a Reiki Master since 1997, and is a Graduate of the College of Spiritual Evolution class of 2005, Santa Fe, New Mexico and continues to study as well as teach others. back
Elizabeth (Liz) Wilk - Board member of Heart to Hearts is a retired elementary school teacher. She received a Master of Science in Elementary Education in 1972 and taught for 34 years in New York and New Jersey. Following her retirement, her love of education connected her with Literacy Volunteers of Mercer County where she volunteers as a tutor and, also, teaches a Tutor Training course for others who wish to be tutors. She is also a member of the Master Trainer team of Literacy Volunteers of New Jersey. back
Tonya S. Coy - Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc., is the Director of Operations for UIH Family Partners (formerly Union Industrial Home for Children), a nonprofit agency located in Trenton, NJ. She has been with the agency since 1996. She has a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and currently pursuing a certification as a Professional Coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), certification in Literacy Tutoring and certification in Women Issues and Diversity. She is also an active volunteer with The Susan G. Komen for the Cure and a member of Toastmaster International. back
Jean DiMarco - Board Member of Heart to Hearts, Inc. recently retired from Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior to that, Jean was the Parish Secretary at St. Ann's Church, Lawrenceville, NJ for 33 years. She served in a volunteer capacity at St. Ann's as the Youth Choir Director for 20 years, directing and instructing 55 students ranging from grades 5th through twelfth supervising and coordinate rehearsals and performances. She volunteered as Music Coordinator for 25 years, coordinated all music and performances for weekly Masses and special occasions, provided organ accompaniment for soloists and scheduled and monitored all parish organist and vocalists. Adult Advisor for St. Ann's Youth Group form 1972 to1990. Supervised thirty to forty parish youths between the ages of fourteen to seventeen, administered and promoted educational, recreational and spiritual programs. Received a 15 year award from the Diocese of Trenton for her volunteer services to St. Ann's Youth Group. She also volunteered for the Special Olympics in Atlanta, for the Lawrence Township Community Band, and is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She is an accomplished musician, loves to cook and enjoys working with children. She is also a Notary Public. back

She has been with the company since 1992. She has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cook College in New Brunswick, NJ. She is an active member of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers at Hunterdon Medical Center. back
