“Massage Therapy” at Wellness Center - Heart to Hearts is pleased to offer massage therapy sessions. Guaranteed 1 1/2 to 2 hour full body customized massage utilizing techniques such as: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Range of Motion, and Stretching will be offered by a fully certified practitioner who is also certified in the massage of cancer and hospice patients. Reiki Classes - Reiki is a gentle technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It helps to rebalance your system and leaves you with a sense of well-being and calm. Yoga for the Healthy Heart - We offer a variety of yoga classes at the Wellness Center taught by Trish Lowerre, of the Soma Center, a holistic health care center. Call to register (609) 689-3131.
Laughter From The Heart (Therapeutic Laughter) - The second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 PM you can join us for some fun, laughter and exercise to prevent "hardening of the attitudes". Marie Bethke, RN, CLL.

Wellness Profile - Heart to Hearts, Inc. offers a unique wellness program with its comprehensive wellness evaluation. The evaluation covers personal and family medical history, eating habits, body type and metabolism. Meet with an experienced medical professional to review your individual data and assess risk for certain diseases, such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Health Portfolio Classes - Learn how to create and manage your personal medical portfolio. Class is open to both women and men at the Wellness Center. Call Terry to register (609) 771-9048.
Nutrition Support - Nutrition support group meets to discuss recipes, practical tips and healthy eating habits, food shopping and meal preparation in a small group setting. Call for information (609) 689-3131.
Weight Management - Obesity is one of the most critical health issues facing Americans today. This program focuses on the steps necessary to lose weight, keep it off and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Above photo - Heart to Hearts was awarded a grant from the Zonta Club of Trenton/Mercer is support of our Healthy Lifestyles program for women and children. This program will teach participants how to improve their health, reduce their risk for illness and take better care of themselves in order to live more productive lives. It will focus on teaching skills to residents of the greater Trenton area in nutrition, fitness and stress management.

Heart to Hearts recently sponsored the World Laughter Day and Hamilton Fun Run to raise money for Alzheimers and Ryan;s Quest (research for Duchennes' Muscular dystrophy) -- it was held Sunday May 3rd in Hamilton Veteran's Park and had over 120 people.

Presentation of $1500 check for Project LifeSaver to purchase tracking bracelets for Mercer County residents with Alzheimer's or Autism. Monies were raised at a run/walk held on World Laughter Day, held in Veteran's Park, Hamilton on May 4th. The Laughter Club, run by Marie Bethke, is sponsored by Hearts to Hearts and is a stress management technique that benefits body, mind and soul through the healing properties of laughter.

Diabetes Seminar - Was held on March 14th, 2007 at Project Freedom Community Center in Lawrenceville. If you or a family member have diabetes or are at risk for this disease that is fast reaching epidemic proportions, you can benefit from this class.
